We Love Our Communities
We love the communities in which we live and work, and we think it’s important to share our resources to benefit others. Lola Jeans encourages employee volunteerism, makes regular donations of clothing, and provides financial support for causes that empower young women, cancer research, local food banks and children hospital. Since the beginning of our journey, we have donated over $100 000.00 towards these causes and proudly continue to contribute.Our current community partners include:
Jewish General Hospital Segal Cancer Centre:
The mission of the Jewish General Hospital is to deliver expert clinical care in a compassionate manner. The Segal Cancer Centre is a state-of-the-art facility which provides patients with the most comprehensive approach to care, combining cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, psychosocial support, nutritional support and clinical and fundamental research in cancer. The interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists, support staff and volunteers play a central role in guiding and supporting patients and their families at each step.
CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation:
The CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation is dedicated to providing children and mothers-to-be with a standard of care that is among the very best in the world. This is the goal underlying all of our fundraising efforts.From day one, the Foundation has been committed to engaging the community and supporting to improve the health outcomes of a growing number of children.
Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation:
The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation is the only charity in Quebec devoted entirely to the fight against breast cancer through research and innovation, raising awareness, and providing education and support to those who are affected with this disease and their loved ones. The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation’s solemn commitment to women with breast cancer and their loved ones, and to its donors, partners, volunteers and employees is to demonstrate: Compassion and dedication; Respect; Integrity.
MADA Community Centre:
MADA Community Center’s mission is to help people in need with the basic necessities of life while preserving their dignity and helping them become self-sufficient members of the community. MADA is a volunteer-based organization that evolved from a small neighborhood center to Montreal’s central address for fighting poverty in our community. MADA provides a haven for those in need.
